JFAlthouse and SECOND SIGHT: JF Althouse is the debut author of SECOND SIGHT, a brilliant (and at times controversial) novel that will leave you to question everything you thought you knew about the past, present and future of humankind. It is an epic adventure based on true facts that blurs the line between truth and fiction. Check out the website and you can read the first four chapters of the book, guaranteed to whet your appetite!
The Heritage of Terra is a science fiction/fantasy series destined for greatness. Daniel Gary Holderman is an up-and-coming author who is in the midst of writing this awesome series. Book One is entitled The Endeavor, Book Two, The Obligation, Shadows of a Threat. He's a talented author and all-around great guy. Check it out!
Wild Wolf Publishing:My publisher, of course! Wild Wolf is an exciting new publishing house based in the UK. They publish dark and edgy fiction that has somehow slipped through the cracks of civilized society.
The Wolf Pirate Project: (nope, not related to Wild Wolf--just a happy coincidence) Home of the best editor in this entire realm, and the best book workshop you will find anywhere, The Wolf Pirate Project is an innovative and creative initiative program designed to promote the art of writing and give new authors a shot at getting noticed in an increasingly closed-door industry. They have some excellent titles showcased on their virtual shelves. Definitely check this one out!
Bernie is one very awesome author with truckloads of talent. His stories are offbeat, a bit disturbing, and thought-provoking. And he's one of the nicest guys you ever want to meet--imagine that!
Karl (don't even try to pronounce the last name) is a remarkable writer and his debut novel FULL OF SIN was just released by my publisher, Wild Wolf Publishing. It's already getting rave reviews so I encourage you to give it a look!
Science Daily: The important stuff you don't get on the regular news.
SPACE.com: Yes, there is a world out there besides our own (many of them, actually). Go explore!
Indiebound: I am a huge fan of independent bookstores. You should be too! Support your independent bookstores--they are the lifeblood of the literary world.
The Geometry of the Universe: An interesting discussion of theories regarding the shape of the Universe--pictures too!
