I suggest the following New Year's resolution: set aside some time every day to get lost in a good book. Turn off the TV and recapture the joy of reading. If you're looking for a good book (and you've already read mine, of course), I suggest you visit Goodreads.com; it can help you find just the right book to while away those cold winter nights as you snuggle up with your blanket and warm beverage of choice!

TURN OF THE SENTRY is now available through most major online book sellers, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, The Book Depository, Alibris, Authors Bookshop, Borders, Already Published (plus a few others that I probably don't know about!) It can be ordered at your local bookstore. It is also available from this website (click on the "Writings" page) or through my publisher's website (Wild Wolf Publishing). Wild Wolf Publishing is a bold, new publishing house based in the UK, so be sure to check out their other great titles!

The first draft of my next novel SOUL OF INNOCENCE is done, and the second draft is now underway! Hopefully, it be completed by late Spring of 2010. Okay, maybe summer. For more information, please visit the "Writings" page.

Now that the holidays are over, and my December hiatus is history, I'll be back on the road, attending conventions, conferences and various signings. You can find updates of my travels as they are scheduled by clicking on "Appearances and Signings" link to the left!

CHECK OUT MY BLOG! That's right, I'm blogging now. You can see what I've got to say at A.M. Boyle's Blogomatic, One of my New Year's resolutions: Blog more regularly! Hopefully, as the New Year gets rolling, I will be inviting some interesting guest Bloggers and sharing some intriguing Blog interviews--so stay tuned!
My short story, "Shutterbug" was published in THE BLACK WHOLE Anthology (Down in the Country Press, 2008). Check it out, if you haven't already--it has some wonderfully chilling stories guaranteed to keep you up at night! It's available at now by clicking the "Buy Now" link on the "Writings" page. It's also available through Amazon.com or Down in the Country Press.

A NOTE OF THANKS: I want to express my deepest and most heartfelt appreciation to Catherine Rudy at Wolf Pirate Publishing for all her hard work and dedication. TURN OF THE SENTRY was workshopped through her company and she was my editor. She is one of the most gifted and perceptive editors in this entire realm, and I am eternally grateful for her talents, her encouragement and her friendship.
